I want to update you about a post I read on ExchangeServerPro Blog regarding a bug in the EAC certificate request wizard.
It appears that there is a bug when creating a certificate using EAC, that mixes up the Department and Organization values. The bug doesn’t appear when creating the certificate with the New-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet.
I didn’t have the chance to check it myself yet, but if we’ll rely on a comment for the post, that bug still exist in CU1 of Exchange Server 2013. I tried to find more cases of the issue in Microsoft Forums and Knowledge Base with no luck… So if you encounter that issue yourself, please give an update in the comments.
For now, use the New-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet to create your certificate, and lets hope this issue will be resolved soon.
